Take a sample of it with your fingers and monitor it on a daily basis.
The cervical mucus will not be watery in nature in case you are not at all fertile. Use your thumb and index finger to check the consistency of the mucus. When you are fertile the mucus will stretch as you stretch your fingers and the consistency too will be clear and water like.
