The first three months is important for the growth of your child. This is the time when your child grows his physical organs so these three months are important in terms of the kind of food your are taking.

Apart from these, during pregnancy, you also need to take calcium, iron, and folic acid.

Various food items contain all these like for Protein, you can take peas, eggs, Fish etc. For Folic acid you can eat dark green leafy villages, yeast liver, beans etc. Intake of milk is important for Calcium, Raisins are good for iron. For vitamin C, fruits and vegetables are recommended. All these will help the mother and the child healthy.

Better that you go to a dietitian, who can suggest the food intake according to your personal requirements. It is also important that all these are taken in moderate quantity so that you do not increase weight.
