Certain food products act as stimulants and arouse energy instantly. Hyperactive kids should be kept away from these food products. Such food products include caffeinated beverages, food containing sugar, etc.Parents should make a schedule for their kids in which some time is dedicated to relaxation activities.
It can include taking a nap or going for a quiet walk. The purpose of this schedule is to ensure that the hyperactive child is taken away from the noise and hustle-bustle of regular life and given some time to focus and channelize his energy.
Activities like yoga and meditation are quite helpful to overcome such problems. These activities promote peacefulness in kids and help them to work on their ability to concentrate. Deep breathing is an excellent exercise as it calms the overall body and can prove quite useful especially when your kid loses control.
