First of all to treat heartburn during pregnancy make sure that you eat the right kind of foods.Avoid foods that are too oily and spicy because these are difficult to digest and may end up causing acidity and heart burn.Include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.
Instead of having 3-4 large meals, try cutting down your meals into smaller parts.Try to eat more frequently by having 5-6 small meals. This keeps your digestive system working and prevents heartburn.Finish your meal at least an hour before going to bed to prevent heartburn.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and to treat heartburn during pregnancy.Try drinking water only after meals and avoid drinking water in between meals.Avoid drinking carbonated and sweetened drinks also in order to treat heartburn during pregnancy.
